Sandy Kemp - Hairstylist
I graduated from the Advanced School of Hairstyling in 2004 and then continued to work in Brandon for the next 12 years at VIGI Salon and Spa before moving back home to Glenboro. I started back in Glenboro working with Pat Fisher at Pat’s Hair Fashions before branching out on my own and starting SPY (Spoil and Pamper Yourself) Salon at the Bjornson Business Centre. In 2023 the opportunity to work as a team out of The Vault came along.
I’ve been doing hair for 22 years now and got into it because I loved playing and being creative with hair. In time, what has made me stay with it is seeing someone leave feeling like a million bucks and feeling great about themselves.

I graduated from Classic Hairstyling in 1994 and returned to Glenboro to work for my Mom’s salon, known as Major Hair Designs. I purchased the salon from her in 1996 once I knew this was a trade that was always going to be needed, and in time expanded my business by purchasing a small house to turn into a salon.
In 2007 I felt I needed to add a change to my already busy schedule and signed a contract with Wawanesa Personal Care Home, offering services once a week. In the spring of 2020 the opportunity to sell my business property and join Sandy Kemp at the Bjornson Building arose. In 2023 we moved across the street into The Vault Salon & Wellness.
In 2024, I signed another contract with the Glenboro Personal Care Home offering my services there as well as Wawanesa.
Currently, I spend 2 days a week at the Care Homes and 2-3 days a week at The Vault. Outside of work, I love to spend time with my family and friends hunting, golfing, gardening, and traveling!
